Myobis, a German software specialist for the tourism and events sector, was snapped up this week by tours and activities reservation platform Trekksoft. The acquisition is being touted as an opportunity for Trekksoft to tackle the large and complex market in Germany, with tours and activities operators given access to a wider range of IT services.

China, EU sign short stay visa waiver deal for diplomatic passport holders

China and the European Union (EU) on Monday signed a reciprocal short stay visa waiver agreement for holders of diplomatic passports which would allow visa free travel to the EU for citizens of China holding a diplomatic passport for stays up to 90 days (within any 180-day period) as well as for EU citizens travelling to China and holding a diplomatic passport or an EU laissez-passer.
